NOI is a collection of clothes racks inspired by the traditional Japanese Kimono stands. All pieces follow the same principle – a thick wooden base pierced by the thinner legs. The shape of the figuative pieces depends on the order of the holes and the length of the legs. Realised in collaboration with Ines Königsmann.
AVALANCHE - a project by Nora Schmidt and Thade Precht - is a versatile presentation furniture inspired by typical alpine avalanche barriers. It comes in two different widths. Its bars and shelves allow for a flexible use. And for transportation and storing purposes, it can be folded up instantly. The product held premiere on September 24th at the grand opening of Waldraud. The space of the fashion and interior design vendor in the heart of Zurich/Switzerland is now equipped with a range of six Avalanche-models.
